The fund raising strategy contains a number of initiatives which are:
- Fund Raising Event [link it to the Fund Raising Events Section]
- Standing Order Initiative [link to the standing order initiative]
- Lump Sum Donations: This is a highly rewarding initiative for people who would like to have a guaranteed profit investment which Allah (SWT) has promised a profit of up to 700% on the Day of Judgement.
- Qard Hasan Initiative: We would appreciate any interest free loan which helps ease our financial burden. Allah (SWT) has promised a high reward for the one who ease the pressure of some body else through the interest free loan. "Who is he that will lend to Allah a goodly loan (Qard Hasan) so that He may multiply it to him many times? And it is Allah that decreases or increases (your provision..." Surat AlBaqara, Aayah 245.
- Zakat money: There is a difference of opinion amongst scholars regarding paying zakat to a school like this. There are great well-known scholars who permit paying zakat for this cause. Please read more [link to Paying Zakat section]
- Radio Ramadhan Bristol: runs a full day of fund raising during each Ramadhan towards BIST.
It is worth noting that any donation to this project is SADAQAH JARIYAH, which means you will continue to receive the reward from Allah (SWT) even after you die as long as the school is functioning.

Fund Raising Dinner 2007: Sunday 18 February 2007
The aim is to raise £300,000 for the cost of expansion of Andalusia Academy due in Summer 2007.

Standing Order Initiative
This initiative is important for the survival of the school during the initial 4 years of operations. This is because the number of pupils during this period is less than the capacity of the school due to the low numbers the school had during its first year of operation. We need to raise £5000 each month by standing orders. This is easily achieved if we have few hundred persons contributing a small amount each month from £50 down to £10 depending on the financial ability. A simple example is that 100 persons contributing £50/ month; this amounts to £5000 easily.
